The aim of the program is to provide high level postgraduate education essential for understanding the molecular basis of human diseases. Postgraduate students acquire skills necessary for basic and translational research.

Faculty members of the Department of Medicine complemented with the participation of distinguished scientists from other Universities or institutions of the country as well as invited researchers from abroad provide a state of the art curriculum integrating recent developments in the biomedical sciences.

Students acquire theoretical and practical training that is required for the generation of specialized scientific staff able to engage responsibly in the organization, management and further development of biomedical services.

The program is completed in four semesters, while postgraduate students can choose among six directions:

  • Medical Biochemistry-Immunology
  • Neurosciences
  • Molecular Anatomy-Molecular Histopathology
  • Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine
